Oliver is an ambitious writer and director who aims to blur the boundaries of genre whilst always providing sharp social and political commentary within his work.
For the last ten years, he has worked simultaneously as a teacher in inner city London schools and a film maker, until leaving his profession in 2018 to work full-time in film and television.
In 2009 he co-founded an independent film company which created music videos, branded content and short films. The shorts – written and directed by Oliver – have been screened in international film festivals garnering critical acclaim along the way.
He is currently preparing to shoot his first feature film – set to star some of the UK’s best up and coming acting talent – whilst also having several television projects in development.
