Trish Cooke Awarded at the Great British Pantomime Awards 2018
Trish Cooke has been recognised and celebrated by the Great British Pantomime Awards for her contribution to British Pantomime. Trish, along with composer Robert Hyman, won the award for Best Musical Supervision for her work at the Theatre Royal Stratford East. Daniel Dawson, the co-founder of the Awards stated:
‘Judges saw well in excess of 200 shows with up to 6 judges seeing each show. The variety of talent that we have seen has made it clear that pantomime is as alive as ever. With so many talented actors so well supported by back of house teams it has made the judging very difficult, but that can only be good for audiences and the future of pantomime. Those who came away with awards last night have every reason to be immensely proud and can rest assured that we and the judges consider them to be the crème de la crème and at the top of their game.’
The event, which took place on Sunday 15 April, was hosted by Christopher Biggins. You can find more information about this year’s nominees and winners here.
