Film adaptation of Naomi Alderman’s Disobedience opens this week in US

Based on the debut novel by DHA client Naomi Alderman, Disobedience opens this week across the United States. Set in North London, the film stars Rachel Weisz, Rachel McAdams and Alessandro Nivola. It is the first English language feature from Chilean director Sebastián Lelio who won the 2018 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film for A Fantastic Woman.

A woman returns to her Orthodox Jewish home after the death of her rabbi father and stirs up controversy when she shows an interest in an old childhood friend.

Disobedience is due to open in the UK on 30^th November 2018.
