Laney assists Nicky Lund.

She graduated from London South Bank University with a degree in Film Studies in 2022. She then went on to gain work experience at the BFI’s Sight and Sound magazine and Salon Pictures before spending 8 months as a Film, TV, and Theatre intern at DHA.

When it comes to films she especially loves queer cinema and independent films, noting Stand by Me, La La Land, Aftersun, Lady Bird, and Blue Jean as some of her favourites.

Her favourite TV shows include: Feel Good, Shrinking, Killing Eve, The White Lotus, and Derry Girls.
