All of Us Strangers has been released in the UK

All of Us Strangers, Andrew Haigh’s film adaptation of Strangers by Taichi Yamada has been released in the UK.

Starring Paul Mescal (Aftersun, Normal People) and Andrew Scott (Fleabag, Pride), the movie has been called ‘an emotionally wrenching masterpiece’ by The Guardian. The adaption moves the novel’s ghostly Tokyo to dreamy London and focuses on a screenwriter drawn back to his childhood home who enters into a fledgling relationship with a mysterious neighbour.

The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die is topping Netflix’s global list of most watched Films

The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die recently dropped on Netflix and has proved to be a worthy sequel to the five-season series that first hit screens in 2015. The film immediately hit the #1 spot on Netflix’s global list of their most watched films, while also topping the list in 92 countries including the UK.

Directed by Ed Bazalgette (The Witcher, Versailles) and written by Martha Hillier (Vera), The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die is adapted from DHA author Bernard Cornwell’s series of Saxon tales. The film follows Uhtred, played by Alexander Dreymon, as he tries to bring peace to England in the wake of the death of King Edward. Yet rival heirs and the schemes of Danish king Anlaf threaten to destabilise the land and destroy the dream of a united England.
