Keep Me Alive

Felled by food poisoning in the middle of a case against a huge supermarket chain, barrister Trish Maguire is driven to investigate. Her client, Will Applewood, opens her eyes to the dangers that can hide behind the pretty packaging of the food we all eat. As he takes her out into the country, she discovers a world quite different from the metropolitan life she loves. But human nature doesn’t change. Cruelty and intimidation can flourish in the ravishing countryside just as they do in the nastiest of inner-city housing estates. Moving between the two, trying to save lives and sanity, Trish finds out what really matters in a novel that combines frivolity, excitement and agonising human tragedy.
