Quieter than Killing

When the tenants at Marnie’s old home are brutally attacked, she is drawn into a complex case. Was the attack a random crime or a message to Marnie from her adopted brother, Stephen, in prison for murdering their parents in the same house six years ago?

 Her chief ally, DCI Tim Welland, is on sick leave and there’s an irascible new boss to please, as Marnie becomes increasingly isolated and in danger of failing to solve the case before anyone else is hurt.
