In a dingy room in Nottingham a motley group is planning to break into a research lab. Two hours later it has all gone very wrong. A security guard has been killed, half the group has bolted, and their leader lies dead in a pool of blood. Only one person saw what happened, but she is so traumatised that she is reduced to a state of catatonic shock. Reporter Alex Brierley is called out to cover the story.
