The Novels That Shaped Our World: DHA authors amongst BBC’s 100-strong list

We’re very proud to see so many of our authors recognised by the BBC on their 100 Novels That Shaped Our World list. Chosen by an expert panel of British writers, curators and critics (including DHA author Alexander McCall Smith), the list ranges from children’s books to contemporary classics to graphic novels.

The DHA authors recognised were: M. M. Kaye (The Far Pavilions), Alice Walker (The Color Purple), J. M. Coetzee (Disgrace), Muriel Spark (The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie), Roald Dahl (The Witches), Graham Greene (The Quiet American) and Tim Winton (Cloudstreet).
