Milly Johnson wins Romantic Comedy Novel of the Year
Milly Johnson’s Afternoon Tea at the Sunflower Café has been named winner of the Romantic Comedy Novel Category at the 2016 Romantic Novelists’ Association Awards.
The judging panel included Matt Bates of WH Smith Travel, Sarah Broadhurst, formerly of The Bookseller; novelist Elizabeth Buchan, Dorothy Burrows, programme director of the Wantage Literary Festival, Alison Flood of The Guardian and Karin Stoecker, ex-Editorial Director of Harlequin Books.
The judges described Afternoon Tea at the Sunflower Café, published by Simon & Schuster, as “A great original idea, loveable characters and a fun read”. Milly previously won the Romantic Comedy Novel award in 2014 for It’s Raining Men.
