Tazeen Ahmad is a writer and broadcast journalist. She has worked on a range of television programmes as an anchor and reporter as well as a senior producer, and has more than eleven years of live broadcasting experience inside and outside the studio.
Tazeen currently makes films for Dispatches for Channel 4 including titles ‘Women Only Jihad’, ‘Undercover Mother’, ‘Christmas Credit Crisis’ and ‘The Truth About Beauty Creams’.
Her debut non-fiction book is The Checkout Girl, a first-hand account of life as a supermarket employee, published by The Friday Project / HarperCollins.
