Sylvia Linsteadt

Sylvia V. Linsteadt’s work is rooted in myth, ecology, feminism & bioregionalism, and is devoted to broadening our human stories to include the voices of the living land. Her books include an environmental-fantasy duology for middle grade readers called The Stargold Chronicels: The Wild Folk (June 2018) and The Wild Folk Rising (May 2019), the adult folkloric novel, Tatterdemalion, a collection of feminist re-envisionings of European myths, Our Lady of the Dark Country, and two works of nonfiction about the cultural and natural history of her native California. The Wild Folk was nominated for the Carnegie Medallon medal in 2018. More about Sylvia can be found on her website
