Rosamund Urwin is the media editor of the Sunday Times. She was previously the paper’s Brexit correspondent and broke the story about ‘Operation Yellowhammer’, the leak of papers setting out the consequences of a no-deal Brexit, for which she was shortlisted for reporter of the year and specialist journalist of the year at the 2019 Press Awards and scoop of the year at both the Press Awards and the British Journalism Awards.

Her other major stories include exposing the Martin Bashir scandal at the BBC and breaking a series of MeToo stories including allegations against Russell Brand. She previously worked as a columnist, senior feature writer and interviewer at the Evening Standard.
