Professor Peter Stott is one of our foremost climate scientists. An expert on anthropogenic and natural causes of climate change, he currently leads the Climate Attribution team at the Hadley Centre for Climate Science and Services at the Met Office, and is a Professor in Mathematics at the University of Exeter.
Peter’s first book, on the evolution of our understanding of climate science and those who seek to debunk it, was published by Atlantic in autumn 2021. Hot Air was shortlisted for the 2022 RSL Christopher Bland Prize.
