Kevin Telfer is an author, journalist, digital copywriter and photographer. He is the author of Peter Pan’s First XI (2010), picked by the Sunday Times, Sunday Telegraph, Observer and Wisden Cricketer magazine as one of their best books of 2010. His previous books are The Remarkable Story of Great Ormond Street Hospital (2008) and, with co-author Kevin McCloud, the book accompanying the acclaimed Channel 4 TV series Grand Designs Abroad (2004).

Kevin is also the author of The Summer of ’45, about the period between VE and VJ Day in 1945; and in 2017 collaborated with Dame Vera Lynn and her daughter Virginia Lewis-Jones on their book about Dame Vera’s trip to Burma in 1944, Keep Smiling Through.

As ‘Milton Crawford‘ Kevin has co-authored the bestselling Hungover Cookbook and its sequels.

Kevin has written feature articles for a number of national magazines and newspapers including the Guardian, the Sunday Times, the Idler and Grand Designs Magazine. He is married and lives with his family in the New Forest.
