Jason Allen-Paisant is a Jamaican writer who lives in Leeds. He’s also an academic and works as a lecturer in the School of English at the University of Leeds. He’s the author of Thinking with Trees (Carcanet Press, 2021) and is now at work on a non-fiction book entitled Primitive Child: On Blackness, Landscape, and Reclaiming Time.
