Jasmine Richards was born in London, grew up in a library, and was the first in her family to go to university. After graduating from Oxford, and following a brief stint at New Scotland Yard, Jasmine chose a career in publishing over being the next Sherlock Holmes. She has previously worked as an editor and at a children’s fiction packaging company, and now runs Storymix, the inclusive children’s fiction studio. In 2023 she was shortlisted for Editor of the Year at the British Book Awards (the “Nibbies”.)
Her debut children’s novel, The Book of Wonders, was published by HarperCollins US and followed by the duology Secrets of Valhalla and Keeper of Myths. The duology was recently re-released by UCLan Publishing in the UK as The Unmorrow Curse and Myth Keeper.
