Helen Lewis

Helen Lewis is a staff writer for the Atlantic. Before that she spent eight years at the New Statesman, rising to deputy editor, and has also written for the Guardian among other journals. She was educated at Oxford University and London’s City University.

She tweets @helenlewis, and is now working on her first book project, Difficult Women: A History of Feminism in 11 Fights, for Jonathan Cape. Difficult Women will be published in early 2020.
