Harriet Baker

Harriet Baker grew up in Leicestershire, and now lives in London. Her book reviews appear regularly in the TLS, and she writes about art and design for the Financial TimesApollo, and frieze. She studied English Literature at the University of Oxford, and is currently completing a PhD at Queen Mary, University of London. She is working on her first book, a group biography of interwar women writers in rural England, for which she was awarded the 2018 Biographers’ Club Tony Lothian Prize.
