Hannah Stowe grew up beneath the sweep of a lighthouse beacon on the Pembrokeshire coast of Wales; she is a woman made by the ocean. Now in her mid twenties, she has lived and worked as a professional sailor for seven years, sailing tens of thousands of miles. As a marine ecologist, these journeys are also often research trips, in which she explores the creatures in our ocean to better understand them and the damage that we’ve done and continue to do to their environment.
Hannah is a scientist who is also an artist. She is a sailor and a marine biologist; the owner of a beautiful boat and an inspiring life story.
