Elizabeth Garner

Elizabeth is the author of two novels: Nightdancing and The Ingenious Edgar Jones. She is currently completing her third: Cassie’s War.

Her latest work Lost and Found is a re-telling of fifteen folk tales, staying true to tradition but speaking to modern times.

Elizabeth trained as a film script editor and has worked with a variety of UK and European production companies. She is now a story-development editor for Unbound Publishing and has worked with a range of writers across both memoir and fiction. She also works as an editor and mentor for Jericho Writers editorial agency.

She teaches creative writing at Oxford University Department of Continuing Education, where she has devised original courses in both Beginners and Advanced Creative Writing.

Elizabeth is the arts trustee at The Blackden Trust, an educational charity which combines academic and creative disciplines to encourage the development of original work for both teenage and adult learners.
