Camille Burns

Camille joined David Higham Associates in July 2019. She has worked in editorial at an academic publisher, in rights and marketing at an audio publisher and interned briefly at Felicity Bryan Associates in Oxford. She has a Masters degree in Publishing from Edinburgh Napier University, as well as a Masters in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh.

Camille assists Jane Gregory and Stephanie Glencross on the Gregory & Company list, as well as Allison Cole and Olivia Hickman on the children’s translation team. Her personal interests include children’s and YA fiction – The Girl Who Drank the Moon, The Knife of Never Letting Go, The Great Godden, Hello Now, Throne of Glass, Eve of Man – but also smart, accessible and inspiring adult non-fiction, such as Why We Sleep, Difficult Women, She Said, The Home Stretch, Sapiens and The Confidence Code.

Camille is also currently serving as Secretary for the Association of Authors’ Agents (AAA).
