On the road Reuben is picked up by the strange Doctor Flyte and his slow-witted assistant, Baggs. The pair seem to offer help and friendship. But is smooth-mannered Flyte all he seems? Reuben is forced to take a role in Flyte's sinister travelling show and finds himself part of a terrifying plot, one which threatens his own life...
