Notting Hill is a unique place - quintessentially London, yet cosmopolitan and exotic. Its residents come from the Caribbean, Morocco, Italy, Spain and Portugal as well as all over the British Isles, and they have brought their own style of cooking and eating to this area.

Inspired by the wide range of ingredients from many parts of the world on offer in the local shops and markets, Carina Cooper has adapted elements from these different cuisines to create original recipes that are practical; and easy to follow yet imaginative and very much her own.

Carina's cooking includes a fresh look at some familiar ingredients and also tempts you to try some lesser-known ingredients. A busy mother herself, she has evolved a range of dishes for every occasion, from suppers for her growing family to meals for entertaining friends.
