JACQUELINE WILSON WINS RTS AWARD

The Granada series GIRLS IN LOVE, based upon Jacqueline Wilson's books, has won the RTS award for best children’s drama.

The judges described it as "stylish, sassy and original.....with emotionally engaging performances and great graphics."

A second series is to be filmed later this year.
