An adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson's classic book THE SUITCASE KID opened at the Orange Tree Theatre Richmond on 22 August and runs there in August and September before going on national tour. The adaptation is by Vicky Ireland, who previously adapted and directed Jacqueline's books THE LOTTIE PROJECT, DOUBLE ACT, BAD GIRLS and MIDNIGHT and it has already received strong praise. Vicky will next be adapting Jacqueline's book SECRETS for the Polka Theatre.
