Geraldine McCaughrean has been shortlisted in the Children's Book category of the Galaxy British Book Awards for PETER PAN IN SCARLET.

Other nominees are: The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne (David Fickling), Flanimals of the Deep by Ricky Gervais (Faber), Horrid Henry and the Football Fiend by Francesca Simon (Orion), The Incredible Book Eating Boy by Oliver Jeffers (HarperCollins), and Wintersmith by Terry Pratchett (Doubleday).

The winners are revealed on 28th March, with proceedings broadcast on Friday 30th March on Channel 4.
