THAT RABBIT BELONGS TO EMILY BROWN shortlisted for the Nestlé Children's Book Prize
Story Date: 4 October 2006
Cressida Cowell's latest picture book, THAT RABBIT BELONGS TO EMILY BROWN (illustrated by Neal Layton), has been shortlisted for the 5 & under category of the Nestlé Children's Book Prize.
One of the UK's biggest and longest-running awards of its type, the Nestlé Children's Book Prize (formerly known as the Smarties Book Prize) celebrates the very best in children's literature and involves over 55,000 children in choosing the nation's favourite children's books. Expert adult judges choose a shortlist of three books for each of three age categories and then it's over to children from hundreds of schools across the UK to decide on the winners.
The prize is administered by Booktrust, the independent charity which promotes books and reading.
