It has been announced that Alan Temperley's THE MAGICIAN OF SAMARKAND will be read by Ben Kingsley on Jackanory, the first story to be read in the revival of this classic series. Initially it will appear on the CBBC channel in three episodes and later on BBC1 as a 45 minute special.
