Pigs Might Fly, by Jonathan Emmett and illustrated by Steve Cox (Puffin), has taken the prize in the Picture Book category of the Red House Children's Book Awards.

The Red House awards are the only children's book prizes to be voted on entirely by children. It is run by the Federation of Children's Book Groups. Children from book groups from all over the country went to the Hay-on-Wye Literary Festival for a party and the awards ceremony.
