Zena Holloway

Zena Holloway specialises in underwater photography and directing underwater commercials. She uses a parade of unusual shooting styles and novel techniques to achieve images which amaze the eye and delight the imagination. Her unique style of photography grew out of assisting film crews whilst working on large underwater film shoots and commercials for many international clients such as Paco Rabanne, Vauxhall and Audi.

Zena branched out into publishing with a book entitled WATERBABY! which she collaborated on with Lauren Heston. This was followed by a series of baby board books and a photographic book, ENFANTS D’EAU, for the French publisher, Edition Hors Collections. Following the huge success of ENFANTS D’EAU, a second book was published in 2002 called SIRENS which explores the magic of the underwater world, featuring beautiful mermaids and mermen in fabulous and evocative settings.

Recent photographic commissions include shooting large Blue and Mako sharks whilst floating in open seas without a cage off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard, an underwater fashion shoot for O’Neill clothing and a national campaign for Jazz FM.
