Nick Sharratt

Prize-winning illustrator Nick Sharratt traned at Manchester Polytechnic and St Martin's School of Art. He is perhaps best-known for his collaborations with children's author Jacqueline Wilson, but has illustrated works by numerous other authors, including Jeremy Strong and Kes Gray, as well as writing and illustrating his own books. Among the many awards he has won are the Children's Book Award for Jeremy Strong's THE HUNDRED MILE-AN-HOUR DOG, The Sheffield Children's Book Award in 1996 for his own CHEESE AND TOMATO SPIDER and again in 2001for Kes Gray's EAT YOUR PEAS, and the Red House Children's Book Award for PANTS which was written by Giles Andreae, and for which Nick was also shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal.
