Jenny has been writing stage plays since 1988 and has had her work produced by the Bolton Octagon, the Tricycle, the Nottingham Playhouse and the Bush amongst others. She has also written a screenplay, MOLLY AND THE OUTLAWS, which was funded by British Screen/Miramax and her novel, STUCK UP A TREE, was published by Virago in 1998. She wrote the book of the musical POISON for the Tricycle Theatre, which opened there in February this year.

1990 THE WAKE (BBC2)
Broadcast September 1990 as part of Debut on Two scheme, a national competition to find new writers for television. THE WAKE was one of only 6 chosen out of 3,500 entries.
In May 1990 completed a short course in screen writing at the National Film and Television School.
In summer of 1990 re-worked THE MANGO TREE for Monstrous
Regiment and it was read at The Drill Hall in London.
1989 JUST LIKE A GENIE (Theatre Court)
A play for 9-13 year olds which toured schools and also played at the Lilian Bayliss Theatre.
1988 ISLAND LIFE (Monstrous Regiment)
Commissioned play opened October 1988 in Nottingham as a co-production between Monstrous Regiment and the Nottingham Playhouse. Went onto the Drill Hall the next year and then toured nationally.
