Jennifer Tuckett graduated from Cambridge University in 2002 with a BA (Hons) in English and has an MA in Creative Writing (Distinction) from the University of East Anglia. She has been the winner of the International Student Playscript Competition, a winner of the International Playwriting Festival, a member of the invitation group at the Royal Court Theatre, a finalist for the RSC OTHER Prize and was recently chosen, out of over 1500 applications, to be part of the Old Vic New Voices Company for 2006-2009.
Jennifer has just been announced as one of the two winners of the Old Vic New Voices Theatre 503 Award this year. As part of the award, Jennifer’s play I am a Superhero will be produced at Theatre 503 in 2008.
Jennifer is also in her final year studying for an MFA in playwriting at Yale School of Drama in the USA.
