Hester Browne is a writer and journalist who divides her time between London and Herefordshire.

She is a keen amateur baker and collects shortbread moulds, as well as etiquette books and red lipsticks.

Her first novel, THE LITTLE LADY AGENCY, was published by Hodder & Stoughton in May 2005 and Pocket Books in the US in February 2006. The sequel LITTLE LADY, BIG APPLE was published in the UK in July 2006 and in the US in February 2007. The final instalment WHAT THE LADY WANTS will be published May 2008 in the UK and in the US as THE LITTLE LADY AGENCY AND THE PRINCE in February 2008.
