Laura-Jane Foley read English and History of Art at Cambridge University, where she also edited the student newspaper Varsity. She continued her studies in History of Art at Oxford University, reading for a Masters. She also edited the ISIS magazine, appeared on the stage many times and made her film debut in Perfect Woman. She went on to read for a PhD, her doctoral research focusing on Lucian Freud.
Laura-Jane has written articles for The Times, The TES and The Liberal. She currently lectures at Bristol University, and is also editing THE BUTTERFLY BOOK, a celebrity art book in aid of Leukaemia Research.
