Andy Hayman

Andy Hayman CBE QPM was until the end of 2007 Assistant Commissioner for Specialist Operations at the Metropolitan Police, and as such was Britain's most senior anti-terror policeman in the period following the 7/7 attacks on London.

His first book, THE TERRORIST HUNTERS, the definitive inside account of how the police and security services are dealing with this new and dangerous threat, is being written with Margaret Gilmore (qv) and will be published in July 2009 by Transworld.
