Born and bred in The Black Country, Alex became an actor and playwright after various jobs in manufacturing and building industries. His work has been produced on the stage worldwide, including the US, and he also writes for film and for radio. He is currently working on a screenplay, NOISE, funded by Screen Midlands and tours of his plays I AM A MINGER and CANNED PEACHES IN SYRUP are under discussion for 2008.
