Her plays for Radio Four include, INK, Collective Fascination, Nothing Happened (with Luke Sorba), Molly's Story in the series Celluloid Extras, The People Next Door, and Mr Jones Goes Driving starring Richard Briers, The Sound of Silence (short-listed for an Imison Award), Calcutta Kosher and the highly acclaimed Friday night play I Am Emma Humphreys. She devised and co-wrote a series of ten short plays, The Magpie Stories, adapted Hanan al-Shaykh's novel Only in London, and co-adapted Paul Scott's The Raj Quartet (with John Harvey). Stage plays include Calcutta Kosher, Mercy Fine, Eating Ice Cream on Gaza Beach and Falling.
She compiled and edited an anthology of short stories, 12 Days, published by Virago and has contributed to various anthologies including Little Black Dress and The Flash.
She is currently developing two new stage plays.
