Leo Benedictus is an award-winning Guardian features writer and his debut novel The Afterparty was published by Jonathan Cape in March 2011. It was longlisted for the Desmond Elliott prize and received a wealth of fantastic reviews on publication. The Independent on Sunday called it 'shockingly accomplished' and The New Statesman described it as a 'postmodern tour de force'. The paperback is due out in February 2012.
Leo was born in London in 1975, and studied English at Oxford University.
