Kevin Telfer is an author, journalist, digital copywriter and photographer. He is the author of Peter Pan's First XI (2010), picked by the Sunday Times, Sunday Telegraph, Observer and Wisden Cricketer magazine as one of their best books of 2010. His previous books are The Remarkable Story of Great Ormond Street Hospital (2008), Earthships: Building a Zero-Carbon Future for Homes (2007, co-written with Mischa Hewitt) and, with co-author Kevin McCloud, the book accompanying the acclaimed Channel 4 TV series Grand Designs Abroad (2004). A second edition of the Earthships book is scheduled for publication in 2012.

Kevin has written feature articles for a number of national magazines and newspapers including the Guardian, the Sunday Times, the Idler, Grand Designs Magazine and the Architects’ Journal and at various points has also been news editor for the Media Society, a script consultant for BBC drama Lark Rise to Candleford and a member of the editorial panel for the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE).

He is married and lives in the New Forest.
