Carol Hedges is the author of numerous novels for children including Jigsaw, which was shortlisted for the Angus Book Award and longlisted for the Carnegie Medal, and Red Velvet, which was shortlisted for the South Lanarkshire Book Award. Most recently she has published four novels in the Spy Girl series for Usborne.
Carol is married with one grown up daughter and lives in Hertfordshire.
