Edward Hogan was born in Derby in 1980, and he won the David Higham Award in 2003. His first novel Blackmoor (S&S, 2008) received a wealth of brilliant reviews and won The Desmond Elliott Prize in 2009.  His second novel The Hunger Trace (S&S) was published in March 2011 and his first novel for young adults Daylight Saving will be published by Walker in February 2012.
