Mike Brownlow

Mike has worked as a freelance illustrator for many years with many well-known UK and international companies. In 1997 he began to write and illustrate children's picture books. The first to be published was Way Out West...With A Baby, closely followed by Little Robots. This second book attracted the attention of Lego Media (now Create TV and Film), and was turned into a major animated TV show. As well as creating the book, Mike also wrote several of the episodes for the TV series.

Mike's other picture books include The Big White Book, I've Got Nits!, Little Robot Rabbit, Mickey Moonbeam, and an elaborate pop-up book from Macmillan, Time Pirates: Kraken Attack. Most recently he has illustrated Dog Did It for Picadilly Press, and Bad Manners, Benjie! is due out in August 2012.
