Soni holds her pencil wrong, or at least so she’s regularly told, but it has never stopped her from drawing. One of her earliest memories is being 3 years old drawing a large chicken on her parents’ wall, in glorious red wax crayon.
After moving on to drawing on paper, Soni gained both a Degree and a Masters in Illustration, from Birmingham City University.
She continues to scribble, make stuff up, and tell tall tales. She is now combining all these skills to create picture books.
Soni works from home in Oxford, supervised by Ted, her rescue dog.
