Kimberly McCreight attended Vassar College and the University of Pennsylvania Law School from which she graduated cum laude. Her fiction and freelance writing has appeared in publications including the Antietam Review, Oxford Magazine, Babble and New York Magazine online, among others. She has lived in Park Slope, Brooklyn with her husband and two young daughters for the past seven years and continues to marvel daily at the neighborhood’s charming streets and colorful characters. Even with its sometimes maddening quirks, there’s no place she’d rather weather the slings and arrows of motherhood.
Kimberly McCreight’s NYT bestelling debut Reconstructing Amelia was published by Harper in April 2013 to brilliant reviews. The UK edition was published by S&S in June 2013. Kimberly’s latest novel, Where They Found Her, was published in September 2015.
More recently, she has been working on a trilogy of YA novels, packed with tension, romance and thrilling twists and turns. The Outliers was published by HarperCollins Children’s in May 2016, followed by The Scattering, in May 2017. Kimberly’s final novel of the trilogy is expected to be released in May 2018.
