Boris Fishman was born in Belarus and immigrated to the United States when he was nine years old. His writing has appeared in the London Review of Books, the Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times Book Review and The New Yorker, where he worked on the editorial staff. His novels A Replacement Life (2014) and Don’t Let My Baby Do Rodeo (2016) are both published in the UK by ONE/Pushkin Press.
