Jessica Woollard Clare Israel Sophia Hadjipateras

Beth Lynch grew up in rural East Sussex, where she became a gardener at a young age. She read English at Cambridge, ultimately completing a doctorate in seventeenth-century literature. For the next decade she worked as a Cambridge college lecturer and created gardens in her spare time.  She then qualified as a garden designer before moving unexpectedly to Switzerland, where she has lived (and gardened) for several years.
