Anita Sethi is an award-winning journalist, writer and critic who has written extensively for publications including The Guardian and Observer, Sunday Times, Telegraph, Times Literary Supplement, Granta and New Statesman and appeared on BBC radio. She has written dispatches from around the world and interviewed many writers and artists.
Her short stories and non-fiction have been published in several anthologies including the Seasons nature writing anthology, Roads Ahead, Solstice Shorts, and From There to Here. She is winner of a Penguin/decibel Prize, Arts Council writing award, was shortlisted for Journalist of the Year at the Asian Media Awards, and has been an International Writer in Residence at the Emerging Writers Festival in Melbourne, Australia. She is a Judge of the David Cohen Prize for Literature 2017, an Academician in the Folio Prize Academy, and has been awarded an authors’ grant from the Society of Authors.
